Co-founder and Director
A soprano with exquisite control of her velvet tone, Lauren Ireland has taught private voice lessons for fifteen years. After completing her Bachelor of Secondary Music Education program at the University of Calgary, Lauren set out to pass on the secrets of the virtuoso technique she crafted over hundreds of hours in the studio. Proving she’s as talented a teacher as she is a singer, many of Lauren’s students have placed first and won honours at competitions including the Calgary Performing Arts Festival and the Stampede Talent Search.
Lauren’s students have been accepted into highly competitive post-secondary vocal programs across Canada. Others have been professionally recorded, posted YouTube videos that have earned tens of thousands of hits, and performed on live television.
Lauren served on the vocal faculty of The Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede from 2012 to 2016. She is an accomplished singer and performs in Calgary as a soloist. Singsana Performing Arts, her vocal studio, is highly regarded as a school both for beginners to learn the fundamentals of the craft and seasoned veterans looking to take their skills to the next level.
